Enjoy Sunday Lunch at Bizzell’s while supporting First Presbyterian Kindergarten Sunday, February 5 Buffet Lunch will be served 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to First Presbyterian Kindergarten Wednesday Bible Study We have had 2 studies – 10 present at first one, and 16 today. We are studying gospel of Matthew, 3 chapters a week, into November. Then through Advent we will do appropriate lectionary readings for the season. We meet in conference room 11:00-12:00 on Wednesdays. We meet every Wednesday except the one before Thanksgiving, up to December 14. EVERYONE is welcome! Bring Bible and enjoy a study time led by our new pastor, as gospel of Matthew speaks to us about our being God’s Church today! FPK REGISTRATION First Presbyterian Kindergarten Registration for the 2012 - 2013 school year will be open to active members of FPC during the week of January 23. It will be open to present school families during the week of January 30. Registration will be open to the public during the week of February 6. Classes offered are Mother’s Morning Out (6 months-24 months), 2K, 3K, 4K and 5K. Registration fee is $135.00 and is due with the application. Please register your child early to secure his/her spot. To register your child or for more information, please call 332-8601. "Souper" Bowl Offering - February 5th Our youth will be collecting a special offering after worship. It is called the " Souper Bowl" offering and the money will go to the Hartsville Food Bank. Please donate and help this ministry to our community. On October 30th, Dr Dan Sansbury was formally installed as our minister. The photo below was taken before the service and it shows Dr Dan and the people who influenced his jouney to become our minister. Habitat for Humanity FPC has accepted the challenge of finishing a Habitat for Humanity home. We are painting, installing cabinets, applicances, floor tile, window trim and doors and finishing the yard. The home is located at 1364 Heatley St in Hartsville. Mission Trip to Washington DC “The Pilgrimage” June 5 - 9, 2011 In June, FPC participated in an urban ministry in Washington D.C. called “The Pilgrimage”. “The Pilgrimage” has been serving the D.C. area over the past 35 years. It was conceived as an outreach ministry of the Church of Pilgrims (PCUSA). Click here for more information. During our time with “The Pilgrimage”, we incurred transformative experiences through service and action as we feed the hungry and homeless in our nation’s capital.
